Dress To Impress Dinner & Presentation
Collingrove Hill Climb
Collingrove Hillclimb starts at 8am
Please make sure you have arrived by 8am.
Clothing of non synthetic fabric (wool or cotton) that covers your from neck to ankle and wrist. Shoes not sandals should be worn. You will need to run with an approved and unmarked Crash Helmet.
If you do not possess one you may wish to borrow one from a friend if possible.
Please make sure your car has a radiator overflow bottle.
The canteen will be open to buy food & drinks
If you are doing the Country Cruise instead of the Hillclimb, the Country Cruise route is after the Hillclimb Cruise below.
Cruise Information if you are doing the Hill Climb event
Leave West Beach Discovery Park at 6:30am
Arriving at Collingrove Hillclimb at 8am.
• Exit from West Beach Discovery Park by turning Left onto Military Road.
• At the Roundabout turn RIGHT onto
WEST BEACH ROAD.
• Use LEFT slip lane to turn LEFT onto
TAPLEYS HILL ROAD.
• Take the next RIGHT onto
SIR DONALD BRADMAN DRIVE.
• In 4.8 kms turn LEFT onto SOUTH ROAD.
• Continue onto lower motorway and continue onto Northern Connector.
• Stay in RIGHT 2 LANES after you pass Waterloo Corner exit to continue onto Northern Expressway.
You will pass an Indy Orange HG Monaro
( it may be the only time you get to pass one )
• Continue onto Sturt Highway.
• In roughly 22kms Exit Sturt Highway at the GREENOCK/SEPPELTSFIELD exit.
• At the end turn RIGHT onto ADELAIDE ROAD.
(This road turns into SEPPELTSFIELD ROAD)
• Follow SEPPELTSFIELD ROAD for 4.1 kms and turn RIGHT to stay on SEPPELTSFIELD ROAD.
• At the end turn LEFT to stay on SEPPELTSFIELD ROAD.
• In 5.8 kms at the Roundabout turn LEFT onto MURRAY STREET.
• At the next Roundabout turn RIGHT onto RAILWAY TERRACE to ANGASTON.
• This road will turn into ANGASTON ROAD.
• Follow the road for 6.1kms to the end and turn RIGHT onto NORTH STREET.
• Go straight for 7.8kms
(North Street will turn into EDEN VALLEY ROAD.)
• Turn LEFT onto HILL CLIMB ROAD.
• The Entrance is 700 meters on your LEFT
Alternate meeting spot for Hill Climb cruise is at Bunnings MUNNO PARA WEST. Corner of FRISBY ROAD
and CURTIS ROAD - be there at 7am ready to join the others.
This is a leisurely cruise. Each stop will be interesting for kids and adults.
How long you stay is up to you, just don’t run out of time.
Meet at 9:00am at
THORNDON PARK RESERVE CAR PARK
Hamilton Terrace, Paradise SA 5075
Cruise commences at 9:30am.
Arriving at the Collingrove Hillclimb event
• Exit via HAMILTON ROAD or STRADBROKE ROAD
• Turn LEFT onto GORGE ROAD.
• Continue along GORGE ROAD for roughly 19 kms.
• Turn LEFT onto B31 TIPPETT ROAD and follow for
2.1 kms until the end.
• Turn RIGHT onto NORTH EAST ROAD.
• Follow for 7.3 kms going past the GUMERACHA Oval.
• The BIG ROCKING HORSE Car Park is after the right hand bend on the RIGHT hand side.
This is our first stop.
Food, Drinks & toilets are available.
Country Cruise Route if you are not doing the Hill Climb event
• Exit car park turning LEFT then turn RIGHT onto RANDELL TERRACE.
• Follow for 12 kms to the end then turn LEFT onto WARREN ROAD.
• Continue for 11 kms into WILLIAMSTOWN, just past the post office, turn LEFT onto YETTI ROAD.
• In about 5.3 kms turn LEFT onto WHISPERING WALL ROAD.
• There is a car park in roughly 900 meters.
This is our Second stop.
Toilets are available.
Send someone across the dam and talk to them from the other side!
• Head back up WHISPERING WALL ROAD.
• At the end turn LEFT onto YETTI ROAD.
• In 1.2 kms go SLIGHTLY LEFT onto WILLIAMSTOWN ROAD.
• Go STRAIGHT for 1.8 kms then turn RIGHT onto PIMPALA ROAD to LYNDOCH.
• Follow for 21 kms through ROWLAND FLAT and TANUNDA.
• At the Roundabout take the FIRST exit onto BURINGS ROAD.
• In 550 meters turn RIGHT into the BAROSSA VALLEY CHOCOLATE COMPANY Car Park.
This is our Third stop.
Food, Drinks, Ice Cream, Chocolate & Wine Tasting.
• Exit the car park and turn LEFT.
• At the roundabout take the SECOND exit onto
VINE VALE ROAD.
• In 2.3 kms turn RIGHT onto LIGHT PASS ROAD.
• Follow for 1.6 kms and turn RIGHT onto
MENGLERS HILL ROAD.
If you have time, stop at the MENGLER HILL LOOKOUT in 1.3 kms.
• 5.8 kms from the lookout, turn RIGHT onto RADFORD ROAD.
• Turn RIGHT in 850 meters onto HURNS ROAD.
• In 1.3 kms at the end, turn RIGHT onto EDEN VALLEY ROAD.
• Follow for 5.2 kms and turn LEFT onto HILL CLIMB ROAD.
• In 700 meters turn LEFT into COLLINGROVE HILLCLIMB.

Please be aware the oval we were going to park on has been flooded due to the weather.
We will now be parking in the Civic Car Park.
We have Security organised to be walking through the car park at all times keeping an eye on the cars so you can enjoy the night and not worry about your pride and joy.

A selection of food is provided as part of your entry.
Please note that beverages are not included and may be purchased from the bar throughout the evening.
